This weekly drop-in provides an opportunity for men of different backgrounds to come together. Talking and listening to each other, playing games, doing a DBS Bible study each week and praying together if they wish. The group provides a great safe space for some of our communities most vulnerable men. The group have gone on outings together, enjoyed picnics in the park and barbecues together and have been on trips to the beach and to the Clent Hills. As most of the men are keen cricket fans, they often play cricket together on sunny days in the cricket nets just outside the Church.
Through fellowship, peer support and encouragement this group has helped the men to overcome difficulties. Their time together has also helped three of them to find employment over the past two years as well as encouraging a number of men with significant barriers to grasp how much God loves them and is concerned for them. This project is co-run with the help of volunteers from Reach Across.
