Covid 19 Update

All formal Church outreach activities are currently suspended.

As a Church, we are grateful to God for the amazing neighbours that He has called us to serve in His name and to spread the Good News of Christ to. We take every opportunity to demonstrate God’s love to all around us tangibly and to declare it verbally. This has been our greatest privilege since the Second World War as well as a challenge in these days of lockdown.

Even if we can no longer hold our annual open air Barbecues and celebrations, film nights, Winter Night Shelter, Holiday clubs or regular activities such as the Sparklers parents’ and toddlers group, we still continue to serve neighbours in crisis by providing Foodbank vouchers, delivering food parcels locally, providing support for local vulnerable men through our virtual Men’s Club community and by being available for those who need other help and advice.

We do hope that, as soon as it is permitted, we will be able once again to restart much of our face-to-face activities, including:

Bridge Club A fun packed weekly club with Bible stories, dramas, crafts
For children in school years 3-6
Thursdays (during term time) from 16:30 – 17:30 (free)
Sparklers
Parent & Toddler weekly club with music, Bible story, fun
For parents and children under 5
Thursdays (during term time) from 10:00 – 11:30 (50p)
Jericho Club
A weekly Youth Club with table tennis, pool, crafts
For youth 11 – 16 years old
Fridays (during term time) from 17:00 – 19:00 (free)
DC Group
Youth Bible study group with lots of activities
For youth 11 – 16 years old
Every other Wednesday (during term time) from 18:30 – 20:00
Tae Kwon Do
For aspiring martial artists of all ages
Groups run throughout the week depending on age & ability
Saturdays, See noticeboard for details (£1)
Men’s Club
For men to come together to play pool or table tennis, have a drink and chill out, take part in a DBS Bible study or seek help & advice
For men in our community
Weekly, Wednesdays from 10:00-12:30 (free)
